Frequently asked questions

Signing in

How do I sign in?

Go to Login and enter your email address and password. We do not offer Google or other social sign-in — your account is an email address and password.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot Password, enter your email, and press Send Reset Link. We will email you a link to choose a new password. The link expires after 30 minutes, so use it promptly — if it expires, simply request another.

I don't have an account yet. Can I create one?

Yes. On the Login page choose the Sign Up tab and complete the form. You must open the page from your church's own web address so we know which church to connect you to. After signing up, check your email and click the verification link to activate your account — that link is valid for 24 hours.

I never received my verification email, or the link expired.

Check your spam or junk folder first, and add [email protected] to your contacts. If the link has expired you can sign up again with the same email address, or email us and we will activate your account for you.

It says "Invalid login attempt" but I'm sure my password is correct.

That message also appears when an account is not yet verified or has been made inactive, and some churches restrict sign-in based on your membership status. Contact your church office, or email us and we will look into it.

Prayer requests

How do I post a prayer request?

Open Prayer, press New Request, type your request, and press Submit Request.

Who can see my prayer request?

Everyone signed in at your church can see it, and it is shown with your name. There is currently no private or anonymous option, so please share only what you are comfortable making known to your congregation. If you need something kept confidential, contact your pastor or church office directly instead.

How long does a request stay up?

Requests remain on the prayer list for 14 days. Your church's prayer leaders can also mark a request as answered.

Can I let someone know I prayed for them?

Yes. Press Pray on their request. The request shows how many people have prayed, which is a real encouragement to the person who posted it.

Can I edit or remove my request?

You can edit your own request from the prayer list. To have one removed, ask a prayer leader or administrator at your church, or email us.

Notifications

What notifications can I receive?

An in-app bell alert, an email, a text message, or a push notification on your phone or computer — depending on what you choose.

How do I choose which prayer notifications I get?

On the Prayer page, find Notify me of new prayer requests and use the Bell, Email, and Text switches. Your choice saves automatically. The bell alerts you to every new request; email and text are sent only for requests posted by a prayer leader. If the Email or Text switch is greyed out, we do not have an address or mobile number on file for you.

How do I turn on push notifications?

Click the bell icon at the top of the page and press Enable Notifications, then allow notifications when your browser asks.

On an iPhone or iPad you must first add the app to your Home Screen: tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then open the app from your Home Screen and enable notifications from the bell. Apple requires this step before any website can send push notifications.

How do I stop notifications?

Click the bell icon and press Disable on this device to stop push notifications, or switch off the Bell, Email, and Text options on the Prayer page. To stop text messages entirely, reply STOP to any message we send.

Where can I see notifications I already received?

Open Notifications, or click the bell icon and choose View All Notifications.
